On Senior Day, Lancer Boys Shine lead by Durocher and Sicard!

Senior Day Celebration
Congrats to the Norton Lancer boys track team who defeated the Millis Mohawks yesterday 120-15.  The boys, still reeling from a loss to Bellingham by 1 point two days ago came out strong against Millis, held their composure, and racked up a slew of points.  Lead by senior captain Brandon Durocher with top varsity points, the Lancers pulled off a great win in front of the home crowd in what was the seniors last meet at home in their high school career.  Durocher pulled off victories in the 400 hurdles and high jump, while taking a second place overall in the 110 hurdles.

Senior captain Zach Sicard had the most impressive victories of the day winning both the triple jump (42'3") and long jump (20'10") with league leading leaps.

Sophomore Justin Ireland won both sprinting events (100 & 200) and pulled off a third place in the long jump.

Kevin O'Leary tried discus for the first time this season and pulled off the victory with a state qualifying throw of 118'! He also remains undefeated in the javelin on the year.

Senior captain Josh Kelleher tried the shotput and ended up with the victory!  He also came in second in the triple jump.

Cam Stalters keep his winning ways going in the 110 hurdles with a new PR time of 16.0! He also came in second in the javelin.
