Lancer Boys Take Down Holliston Panthers on Their Turf 94-42! Camden Cleathero Shines in the High Jump!

Congrats to the Norton boys track team who took down the Holliston Panthers in convincing fashion yesterday 94-42!  The boys move to 4-1 on the season with 1 duel meet remaining this coming Thursday at Ashland. 

Camden Cleathero lifted himself and the team to new heights with a new PR in the high jump yesterday at 5'10" as a sophomore and a first place overall finish! A huge congrats to him on that jump!

Kevin O'Leary stayed UNDEFEATED on the season in the javelin, while also taking a second in the discus and anchoring the 4x100 meter relay team to victory.

Justin Ireland was a double winner in the sprints yesterday winning both the 100 and 200 meter races. 

Mike Tierney asserted his dominating ways again in a very fast field in the 400 posting a season best time of 52.3 good enough for 2nd overall in the TVL standings. 

Cam Stalters brought in 7 varsity points for Lancers with a lifetime PR and one of the best times in the state in the 110 hurdles of 15.8, a 2nd in the javelin, and a 3rd in the discus. 

Other first place winners on the day included Zach Sicard in the triple jump, Paul Schleicher in the discus, Josh Kelleher in the long jump, Max Marcotte in the 800 meters, the 4x100 relay of Zach Sicard, Camden Cleathero, Adam Winiarz, & Kevin O'Leary, and the 4x400 relay of Parker Cleathero, Sean Cappellini, Max Marcotte & Mike Tierney.

3rd Shotput - Chris Litchfield
3rd Javelin - Alex Buchan

Norton will next compete against the ASHLAND CLOCKERS at Ashland on Thursday, May 15th at 3:30.
