Lady Lancers Remain Undefeated After Another Week of Competition!!

The girls defeated Bellingham on Monday at home 100-35 and Millis at home Wednesday 83-51! The girls have been training hard over the past few weeks and these are both well deserved wins. Not only did the girls take many first place wins over both teams they broke 5 school records while doing so! Kassidy Campbell broke the record in the 100 hurdles on Monday and then again broke her own record on Wednesday running a 15.9. She also broke the long jump record set by Courtney Williams in 2009. Brooke-Lynn Williams broke school records in the 200M which she previously shared with Caroline Allen and sister Courtney. Brooke-Lynn also broke the triple jump record set by Erin Kennedy last year.

Brooke-Lynn Williams in the 100M,
Caroline Weber in the Mile,
the 4x100M relay team of Cece Browne, Erin Feeney, Alison Dufault and Amy Pereira,
the 4x400M relay team of Danielle Whitman, Alison Dufault, Liz Dufault and Anya DiLorenzo,
Erin Kennedy in the high jump,
Ashley Pelletier in the javelin,
Shannon O'Rourke in shot put and discus.

Other first place finishers vs Millis included:

Anya DiLorenzo in the 800M,
Erin Kennedy in the high jump and triple jump,
Ashley Pelletier in the javelin,
Amy Pereira in the shot put,
And Shannon O'Rourke in the discus.

Congratulations to all of the girls on a great week. A special congratulations to all of the seniors on a great 4 years! They are all wonderful leaders and we are so proud of their accomplishments tonight at the senior meet and all that they have done throughout their years at Norton! They will be greatly missed!

The girls compete next this weekend at the coaches invitational meet in Somerville.
