Lady Lancers Have a Strong Start Despite Crazy "Spring" Weather!

The girls braved the elements on Wednesday to pull out their first win of the season against Medfield 71-56! The girls took first place in 11 out of the 15 events contested. One school record was tied and 7 people qualified for states in 8 different events!

 Brooke-Lynn Williams fought through illness and freezing rain to tie her school record and qualify for states in the 100m.

Amy Pereira qualified for states in the shot put throwing 33'2" coming in first, as well as playing third in the 3rd in the 200m. Bella Berardi placed first in the Long Jump, 200m and 400m qualifying for states in LJ and 200m. Danielle Whitman placed first and qualified for states in High Jump clearing 4'10". She was also part of the 4x400m team who solidified the win against Medfield ending the meet and allowing us to get in out of the cold! Katie Bradley placed first in the mile and 2 mile qualifying for states in the 2 mile. Kassidy Campbell placed first in the 100 and 400 meter hurdles, qualifying for states in both. She also placed second in the Long Jump. Kayla Sicard finished second in the 100m hurdles also qualifying for states.

Emily Carlson - 3rd in high jump

Our next meet is Thursday 4/16 at home against Holliston.
