Tierney, Stalters, Ceesay, & Ireland Stay Perfect Through Duel Meets in Their Events; Boys Win 80-56 Over Hopkinton to Stay Undefeated in Regular Season!

A huge congrats to Norton Lancer boys track team who stayed undefeated during their duel meet campaign this year at 6-0. Cam Stalters stayed undefeated all season in the Javelin, while Mike Tierney stayed undefeated in the 400 Hurdles.  Abu Ceesay stayed undefeated in the 100 & 200, while Justin Ireland stayed undefeated in the long jump.

Senior Captain Mike Tierney blazes to victory in the 400 Meters!
Norton took down a tough Hopkinton boys team who put up quite the fight on the track and a few field events.  The Norton boys ended up winning 80-56, their closest meet of the season. 

Captain Mike Tierney lead the way in points as a double winner in the 400 hurdles, 400 meters, and 2nd in the high jump. Cam Stalters was also a double winner in the javelin and 110 High Hurdles while placing 3rd in the discus. Abu Ceesay was a double winner in the 100, 200, and placed 3rd in the long jump. Joey Annand was a double winner with a tough 1 mile-2 mile double for the Lancers.

Justin Ireland placed 1st in the long jump, 2nd in the 100 and 2nd in the 200. Camden Cleathero grabbed 1st in the high jump, 2nd in the 110 hurdles, and 3rd in the triple jump. Chris Wrenn won the 800 meters.

Norton next competes this weekend at the DIVISION 4 STATE RELAYS in Bellingham at 9:30!
